“Rescuing The River” Film and Discussion TONIGHT 5/8
Our friends at NJ Council For The Humanities have asked us to remind our followers about the following special event THIS EVENING at Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave.:
The Edison Library will host a screening and discussion of “Rescuing the River”, on Tuesday, May 8, 7:00pm. This is a documentary exploring the history of industrial activity, political activism and legal action surrounding the cleanup of contaminated sites along the Raritan River.
A post-screening discussion will follow lead by Professor Chris Rasmussen, Fairleigh Dickinson University.
